Seminary 2012-13/ New Testament

This was one of my favorite days of Seminary...
"The Armor of God" with homemade "play-doh."
They were pretty creative!

February 2013

Pinewood Derby 2013

Kavan's car did not fair so well...

until he put a banana on top.

Then it was much better... and silly and fun!

Of course Yoo-hoo and banana splits make everything better!  (What a clever leader they have!)

Karlee had her last elementary school fieldtrip to the Super Scientific Circus!  It was pretty neat!  I think the kids were most impressed with the whip and how loud it could get!

Crazy Fun!

January 2013

All of the kids love to ice skate, especially Kenzie...

And until this day I had never been ice skating!  It was so much fun!  Kyler even held my hands and skated with me!  :)

Karlee has discovered a love for cooking and baking in the kitchen (which is awesome!), and she bakes some pretty amazing muffins!

We love celebrating birthdays!  And we all love this amazing mom and grandma!

New Year "Luck!"

So, to usher in the New Year of 2013 we headed to Grandma and Grandpa's house!

We had some great fun at the GA Aquarium!  It's definitely a favorite and the new dolphin show is a lot of fun!

This is how we spent our time waiting for the ball to drop...

Then we had a little "Christmas after Christmas" - Burgy style! :)

Bumblezzzzzzz!

Our good friends, Debbie (who is from Greece) and her husband George, stopped by for dinner and shared a fun Greek tradition with us.  To celebrate the New Year, the Patriarch of the family cuts into this amazing bread (Vasilopita), and hands each member a piece.  The person who receives the piece of bread with a quarter inside is promised a lucky and/or prosperous New Year!  Guess who got the lucky piece...
