Met up with our friends, the Christiansens, and had a very quick tour of the city.
These houses across the river were so beautiful!
We went to this great little place to have some Schnitzel. They had over 100 differents kinds of schnitzel (pounded out pork that kind of resembles country fried steak) - how do you choose just one?!? They also served a green salad with a yogurt kind of dressing - that was out of this world yummy! :)
Here we are about to enjoy our Schnitzel. (Layne and I shared a plate. If I remember right we topped our Schnitzel with some kind of sauce that had artichokes in it, yummy.)
It was quite cloudy and a bit rainy, but beautiful all the same. It would have been great to stay in Heidelberg longer, but the next morning we headed south.
