Easter 2013

I love this time of year.  It's beautiful, and it helps us to always remember our Savior, Jesus Christ.  What wonderful gifts and blessings we receive through Him and His atoning sacrifice.  In seminary, we have been studying the book of Mosiah in the Book of Mormon for about the last 4 weeks... and what a great testament of Jesus Christ it has been!  Through the words and examples of King Benjamin, Abinadi, Alma, Alma the younger, etc. it makes you think harder about, "How are you standing as a witness?" I am thankful for the scriptures, and the knowledge of the plan of salvation, and for our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

And I am thankful for family and fun times!

The hunt is on and Kavan had quick success this year!

Hmmm...

Really?  :)

Success!  We worried for Kyler a bit (because kids are older, rules state no helping or hinting), but then all was found.

Ready for church.

Love it!

So Fun!

Middle School Baseball 2013

Kyler finished his "middle school baseball career" with a better record than last year!  And although the team still did not record any wins, they had a couple of tie games, and I think they only lost one game due to mercy rule.  Our hope is that every year they will be able to improve, and grow, and maybe even win a game!  :)

Kyler was awarded the "Most Outstanding Player" for the season.

Soccer 2013

Karlee #10 had a pretty successful season as a defender.  She learned a lot from her coaches (which I so much appreciate), and was always ready to play and practice (which was awesome)!

Kavan #2 just really loves playing soccer games!  The practices however...sometimes he's gung-ho and sometimes not so much! But he also had some great coaches that really got him motivated at practices - so once he was there it was a "go!"  :)

I love watching the kids play soccer! Makes me happy!

Kyler is on his second year now of being a soccer ref so that's pretty fun!  And when you have new interests and hobbies... a job comes in pretty handy! :)
