Kyler's excitement and enthusiasm for middle school band has had us crazy - literally! Until finally, the instrument was assigned!!! And who thought he would be playing an instrument as tall as him?!? A bassoon?!? He is so excited - that crazy kid carries the reeds around in his pocket and talks about it non-stop! :) He is already planning out how many years it will take to save his money to buy one! I told him to just get through middle school first. We love that crazy boy.
And... How can you not love that!!! :) hee, hee!

ReplyDeleteI love that he loves it! Bassoons are VERY sought after instruments. It's a lot easier to get scholarships and good spots in groups if you are good. That is super exciting!
ReplyDeleteWhen I say sought after I mean that it's an uncommon instrument. There are not a lot of people who play it and therefore very sought after to fill the much needed spots!
ReplyDeletehaha That is so awesome!!!! He looks so excited about playing! Mc is going to be able to start band this year...so I'm sure it's going to be interesting! We're going to have her try my old clarinet and see how she does.
